October 23rd - Results

A beautiful autumn day with very little wind and still no bunkers to contend with might have led to another plethora of high scores, but in fact the only swindler to reach 40 points was the day's winner, PBI. £23 and a 3-shot cut to him. Well played Pete!

Joint second were Geoff Tithecot and Rory Scales on 37 points, for £11 each. In joint 3rd on 36 were Alex, Stuart, Kelvin and Glen for a handsome £1.50 each. Front 9 in 22 and back 9 in 20 for a fiver each were Malcolm Proudley and Jeff Titman respectively.

The course was looking magnificent in the sunshine but playing quite long, with limited roll on the fairways given the fairly heavy ground conditions. Hedgehogs will be required from November 4th in case you haven't seen the club announcement.

Nothing too much to report on the leaderboards, though PBI's stellar round sees him breathing down Mark's neck for second in RED whilst in BLUE, Stuart is creeping ever closer to Don for the lead, with Kelvin hot on his heels. All to play for!
