Results for 14th May

A nice breeze and sunny conditions made an ideal day for golf reflected by the group average stapleford of 33.5pts. Dave Smith after a patient wait finally took home some money - £5 for 20pts on the back 9. The front 9 was won by 'Snatch & Grab' Dave Robson with 21pts also for £5. Will the committee join last weeks 23pts and this weeks 21pts to 44pts for 2 x 9 holes = 18 and a 5 shot cut - watch this space!!

Bob Bright sporting his psychedelic shorts dazzled all comers with 41pts for 2nd place and £12. After 6 rounds with the Wed Group he sits on an average stapleford score of 37pts! However an excellent round of 42pts by Iain Pritchard (£23) clinched top spot but alas couldn't avoid a 3 shots cut to 27 going forward. 

Ali and Robin continue to head up the Red & Blue divisions respectively. 3 Hall Trophy matches to look forward to next week.
