Swindle Results for April 9th

Cometh the hour, cometh Bob. In his first swindle outing of the year Bob Bright blew the field away to win by 3 shots from Jim Morrison. Bob scored an amazing - especially considering it contained a blob - 24 points on the front nine and then backed it up with a solid 19 coming home. 43 points and £22 plus a cut of 3 shots to a new swindle handicap of 22. Well done young man! Jim's 40 points pocketed him £13 and a 4-week cut of 1 shot. Another good round from another good youngster.

Iain Pritchard and Dave Clarke both scored 39 points to take joint 3rd.  A fiver each in the bin and no cut. Smart work! Tom returned to form with a very good round and scooped a fiver for the front nine in 20, whilst the Sommelier did the business on the back nine with 19. Both after count-backs.

No major moves on either leaderboard this week.

Hall Trophy

The draw has been made and there are some tasty encounters in store. Reigning champion Tom takes on the Bionic Man Kelvin. Dave Clarke vs PBI catches the eye as a competitive pairing as does Crofty vs the Boss. Eugene and Chris Manners somehow get a bye in Round 1 - the rest of you obviously didn't pay Alex enough before the draw! Full details of thre draw can be found through the link on the left hand side of this webpage. Alex would like First Round matches completed in May please.
