The Brynmeister is back! 37 points to take the victory, winning £23 in the process. A 4-shot cut to a new handicap of 28 ensues. Very well done that man.
There was a 3-way tie for second place with 35 points, worth £7 to each recipient. The protagonists were Chris, Martin and Malcolm. In Chris's case the wheels came off his round on the 7th, though fortunately (for his score at least) this was literally and not metaphorically. Yes, one of the wheels of his trolley actually fell off. Chris made it to the end of the round with the help of a further two trollies and this clearly didn't affect his game too much since he birdied the last to roar into his share of second place. That's the way you do it! And the £7 will doubtless help pay for a new wheel 😂
Jimbo continued his strong run of form with 21 points on the front nine for a fiver, while the same prize for the back nine was won by Alex the Eagle with 19 points. Good to see Alex back on the course on a regular basis, and he will shortly be re-instated on the leaderboard.
Hall Trophy Results
Two results to report this week, both 2-up. Peter Miller beat Bob Bright and Steve Mummery beat Dom Johnson. Better luck next year chaps!
