Fantastic weather coupled with the Away Day at Dunstable Downs where the winning team romped home with 41pts. Mike Crofts (39pts - best of the day), Tony Hurst and John Cullen bagged £15 each. Alex Hall won £7 for his creditable 37pts and nearest the pin on the 18th hole won comfortably by Eugene £5. A good value day with tasty grub and maybe a venue to pencil in again. We gave a toast to Robert Andlaw who really enjoyed the away days. 

Back to normal business on Wednesday and re-familiarisation to the pace of the greens. The adjustment was best made by John Cullen to picked up his second win in 2 days with 40pts and £22. A very profitable week that did not go unnoticed! Malcolm was second with 39pts : £12. Third place on the rostrum with 38 pts was Eugene and Trevor Pyne - £6 each.  

Thanks to everyone for signing the card for Robert. This together with John Martin's moving tribute was sent to Ros and Family today - I am sure they will appreciate it.
