Results from 13th Dec

27 players signed in to play. Three players failed to show after viewing the weather forecast that left 24 hardy types really wishing APGC had closed the course! Alas not, so off we trudged - the first 9 holes were blessed with high winds and drizzle the back 9 with gales and horizontal rain. 14 players succumbed between hole 9 and hole 14 leaving 10 fruit cakes to complete their rounds. Averages took a mighty tumble.

Well done to Peter Miller and Ali Robertson for scoring a highly creditable 34 points - joint winners £12.50 each. Seems harsh to cut their Handicaps but nothing in the rules for adverse weather!

The forecast for Wed 20th looks really good!! - hopefully we will have dried out by then.
