Results from the 10th May

What a contrast 9 holes of warm sunshine then the monsoon!! Half the field ran for cover the rest braved it. The bar committee deliberated and decided 13 holes would involve all players and all for the cost of £1 only. Gus has clearly found his land legs as he won both the 18 hole and 13 hole challenges with a fine 41 and 29pts respectively picking up £12.

Dominic came 2nd on 28pts (£10) and the Boss 3rd : 27pts (£4). Mike Crofts legitimately won the front 9 with 22 pts (£5).

Another thriller in the Hall Trophy saw John Harris sink a putt on the 18th to edge out Eugene. Colin Stickland (3up on the 13) shook hands with a waterlogged Trevor Hones. The Saga between JC and Sameer failed yet again to resolve itself - a 3rd attempt will be made over 9 holes with Sameer 1 up -----possibly!
