Results from 7th July

Winner:  Andy Wyatt, 43 points , £22.  For the second week running Andy scores 43 points and goes into the Hall of Fame overflow car park again. Remarkable consistency.

Second:  Alex Hall, 41 points, £14

Joint Third: John Martin and Jim Morrison, 39 points, £6 each.

Front 9: Martin Davies, 20 points, £5
Back 9: Bryn Jones, 19 points, £5

A remarkable statistic: in 2019, a full year's golf, there was 1 new entry in the Hall of Fame (43 points or above). In 3 months of 2021 there have been 10 new entries in the Hall of Fame so far. Truly a sea change in the level of scoring.

Finally,  preparations for the Alternative Ryder Cup are advancing. Stones Captain Mick Jagger (aka John McCullen) has taken a break from painting his door, in black, and has ordered a special menu for the day of goat's head soup and a brown sugar bun to follow. He has also produced these very satisfactory team boards, he may have had a little help.  Looking forward to a real street fight between the teams on 25th August, well maybe not a real one.
