I hope this finds you and yours all well with the vast majority having had the first jab. I found this recent lockdown harder than previous ones and I let the site go dark as even the jokes were starting to wear thin. But at least we missed an awful lot of mud !!
You have probably seen the good news that 4 ball golf is returning to Aldwickbury on Monday 29th March. This means that the Swindle will resume on Wednesday March 31st with 4 balls, provided things continue to go well.
The Boss writes: 'Everyone wanting to play on Wed 31st March should sign in on our Web site as usual by the 15th March. I will do a random draw for 4 balls with the first player from each group responsible for booking the tee time on the APGC booking site from 17th March. Hopefully the club will soon clarify whether the outing on Wed 7th April will be on a group booking basis and if so we will be back to normal from then. I will as before show players their financial position on the results spreadsheets, including winnings for Red / Blue Leagues in 2020.'
