Recommendation from The Boss on World Handicap System

 

  1. Get access & register onto How Did I Do https://www.howdidido.com/Account/Login?returnUrl=%2f
  2. Handicaps currently showing on How Did I Do may change over the next week or two as some data tweeks need to take place.
  3. Anybody who has not entered any qualifying comps / supplementary rounds in the last year should aim to get 3 rounds done by year end and put scores into How Did I do.
  4. The ideal way of reflecting players true level of their playing ability going forward is to do 10 qualifying rounds per annum.
  5. There will be a look up table in the clubhouse showing what handicap to use off the red / yellow / white tees
  6. What we previously knew as our club handicap in 2020 is now our World Handicap Index (WHI).
  7. The start Swindle Handicaps in 2021 will be the WHI with adjustments up or down taking into account players winnings per game played ratio during the 2018-2020 period.
