Parish Notices:
1. News of Bryn, who is doing well and plans to return to golf when the weather improves; and news of Rory, in his own words, ' I have not had a second seizure and my achilles seems fairly solid. I have played the 9 hole twice with Joan - I gave her two shots per hole. First time she won - I could not see the ball before or after a hit it possibly due to wearing vari- focal specs. Second time I was a bit better. We plan to try again soon and hopefully I shall be able to make a Wednesday about Easter. But I am not allowed by the DVLA to drive after my seizure so it's not so simple'.
2. Date for the Diary.
The Alternative Ryder Cup (ARC) will be held on Wednesday 19th August this year. 9 holes in the morning will be Gruesome’s (not Greensomes) and around 2 pm there will be singles matches (but played in 4’s as per normal). More detail later in the year and an entry form will be made available. This event has been great fun so we are hoping for another good turnout with proceeds going to the Captain's charity.
