PARISH NOTICES

Well, a week with no golf but that pales in comparison to those suffering with the virus. I thought I would provide weekly updates if anyone would care to send in news of anyone in the group or share something light hearted.
So to tee off, here is a video courtesy of Andy Wyatt, and a verbal update from our man in Spain, Alan Wright:

''in our little oasis we’re doing OK. Save for two shopping trips we’ve been in lockdown for three weeks now, Kathy hasn’t been out at all during this time, she has an exercise class via Wi-fi three times a week so keeping fit. I play imaginary golf with you guys so hopefully keeping my bad game up to scratch.
The weather here is very changeable, when the clouds clear it’s very warm, we sun ourselves on the solarium. But we’re getting a lot of rain, more than we have seen in the eighteen years we have been here, with more forecast for the coming week.
How are you and the boys coping with no golf now and in lockdown? I hope domestic relations aren’t suffering as a result.
Our return ferry has been cancelled, but Kathy managed to book one for the following week 27th April, fingers crossed they don’t cancel that too.
My regards to all if you're in contact, tell them to keep safe and well.''
