PARISH NOTICES
1. Sad news this week. Peter Dickens, brother in law of John Cullen, passed away this week after suffering from acute dementia for several years. He played in the Swindle a few times. Thoughts are with John and family.
2. Overnight Away Day Sunday September 13th. Second call for expressions of interest in this overnighter plus 2 rounds of golf, which will not count as part of the Swindle. Organised by Ibbetson Sporting Events, it should be fun.
- No more than 50 miles/75 minutes drive of Aldwickbury.
- cost around £130 for dinner, bed and breakfast (plus single room supplement if required) and two rounds of golf.
- the more who come the potentially cheaper it might be, e.g. one in twelve go free.
