Aldwicks Charity Day on Thursday 7th September 2017

In aid of this year's Club Charity The Hospice of St Francis, Berkhamstead.

As many of you will have seen either on the Aldwicks notice board or the email from Mick Beaufoy the Aldwicks Charity day is being held on 7th September and all you need to enter is an active handicap and £11, this includes lunch so it should be a good day.

Two of our Wednesday group, John Maynard & Robert Andlaw, are organising this charity event so please give them your support by preferably playing on the day, donating a raffle prize, an auction prize, a sizable donation or doing all four would be even better.

Could I suggest if you agree that as a group we have a whip round over the coming weeks of say a pound each and donate a raffle prize on behalf of the Wednesday Group. I will not be playing on a Wednesday until 23rd August so if someone could volunteer to collect this it would be appreciated, if not I will do it on the 23rd.

As Mick Beaufoy said in his email this is one of the most important Aldwick events of the year so please give John and Robert your full support in making this a successful event.

Sign up on the PSI and lets show everyone how good the Wednesday group are, closing date is on 29th August so Hurry! Hurry! Hurry! If we get enough players it will be a shot gun start so we all get in for lunch together.

If your handicap is not up to date get some supplementary scores in via the PSI in the next few weeks it costs nothing only your pride, your score doesn't matter but getting it on the system does.
