Peter Dickens Memory Walk, by John Cullen

Memory Walk is about raising money for a world without dementia. It's organised by the Alzheimer's society and is taking place in September and October.
Who am I and why am I doing it? I'm John Cullen and have been a member here for the last 4 years and my reason for participation is that my brother in law, Peter Dickens has Alzheimer's. Peter was an active member of the club for about 15 years and participated in the Monday and Wednesday swindles at Aldwickbury Park until the disease struck him some 3 years ago and now he's in a specialised nursing home in Bricket Wood.
I will be doing the walk on Friday 7th October (the nearest date to Peter's 70th birthday) and unlike the golf myself and Peter played I will be taking a straight line and will be accompanied by his wife Sue and Dee his sister (both ex club members) and it will be in the St Albans area.
Please sponsor me;  I have a just giving page set up:

I am looking to raise £50 to £100 . Thanks and regards,  John
