The Wednesday Swindled
It’s time to start the ball rolling on this year’s Matchplay KO competition for Wednesday swindlers but because of my Captains work load and a possible conflict of interest with my position as the Aldwicks Captain it is not possible for me to be the organiser this year.
John Martin will on his return from holiday put a link on this site so that you can enter your name into the Comp, from there on we need someone to do the draw, collect the entry fee and generally administer the Comp through the various rounds. Once the draw is done and the money collected there is not much to do so if one of you would kindly take this on this year it would be very much appreciated.
I have amended the rules slightly if you all agree.
a) If both players agree you can play in the Wednesday Swindle and the KO Comp at the same time it just means that you will probably have to putt everything out.
b) Entry fee this year to be only £1.
If you are willing to organise the KO this year please let me know and I will give you the draw sheet, entry fee sheet etc from last year. Please email me on alex.hall50@ntlworld.com to let me know.
