Wednesday also saw our annual Awards and Xmas meal at the Elephant & Castle. A perfect venue and a great night. Thanks to Sameer and David, the Social Committee. And many thanks to them also for providing a wonderful wine tasting, conducted by our resident Sommelier and part-time stand-up comedian David. Notes from the wine tasting to follow very soon.

The evening was greatly enhanced by a some live music provided by Alan Hall who also recited ''Sam's Christmas Pudding'' entirely from memory !
Finally, an executive decision was made to EXCLUDE Away Days from the Stableford Averages and Leaderboard Stats. So Keith Rowden edges back to the top of the Leaderboard....Also to give the over 85s 3 shots back on handicap at the start of the year.
