Overseas Reports and Rules, bloody Rules

Colin reports from Ko'olua in Hawaii, reputedly the world's most difficult golf course, that it is indeed slightly more difficult than our course !  He only lost 11 balls though, which was less than his pre-trip estimate !

That's a swine of a shot
Alex attended the recent Rules Evening and three items arose which Keith wishes to publicise: a. all are requested not to remove balls from the hole using the putter head; b. on the 16th the actual OB line is down the left hand edge of the path so anything over the path is OB; c. declaring your original ball lost after you have played a provisional -  If your ball is found by one of your playing partners within the 5 minute rule it is still the ball in play although you have said you do not want to look for it and declared it lost. Your original ball is still the ball in play up until you have played your provisional ball at a point past your original ball. If your original ball is found before then you must play it or take relief if appropriate.
